Fix your Explorer.exe on start-up screen on your Windows 8

Steps:
1. Goto Task Manager (ctrl + shift + esc) and Click Browse.

2. Now goto My Computer. And go to on your local disk. And click on "Windows".

3. Find a computer icon named "explorer".

4. Copy and paste explorer in the same folder. (Copy file named as "copy of explorer")

5. Rename the "copy of explorer" to anything you like. (eg.-"face")

6. Go back to Task Manager and click on New Task and type "regedit" and ENTER!

7. Window will display Registry Editor.

8. Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > WINDOWS NT > WINLOGON. (If you cant find the folder WINLOGON in WINDOWS NT then goto folder called  CURRENT VERSION and you find WINLOGON there.)

9. On right hand side find the named "shell". Double click on it.There will pop up.

10. In VALUE DATA renamed it to the copy of the computer icon you did in step 5. (eg. "face.exe")

11. RESTART SYSTEM.
